Motoyuki Yoshihara is the Dick and Rosalie Bush Fellow of Economic Warfare at the Department of Economics and Geosciences and the Institute for Future Conflict. His work as a PhD researcher at Cornell University focuses on using real estate data to elicit people’s true preferences. A former US Army Ranger, he served as an officer across the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. Motoyuki leverages his intersection of academic theory and international statecraft in practice to advise military and political leaders in making sound policy decisions.
